CV Windsor is an exciting project that will radically transform the way people live and work in Melbourne. As briefed by the client the development will be a creative hub and incubator of modern professionals giving them opportunity to live and work from home.
The cross pollination of ideas will be facilitated by shared residential lounges, libraries, meeting rooms and garden areas spread across the project. This will all be surrounded by effortless luxury and elegant design that is perfectly situated in one of Melbourne’s most vibrant cities.
Environmental sustainability features as a high priority in this project. The dual aspect allows for the majority of apartments to have access to both northern and southern light and good cross ventilation. Solar panels will be used to collect energy for use in communal areas. Grey water and rainwater will be harvested for reuse.
CV Windsor is located at 105 Punt Road and has been conceived to deliver a unique typology of living for the local area. The concept is developed around the idea of a “townhouse in the sky”.
Within the project there are significant and generous communal spaces at the ground and roof levels provided to establish and enable creative living interactions between residents and foster a sense of community.
At ground level are lounge areas, more spacious kitchen and dining areas. Located on Level 8 is a shared residential garden. The garden will give residents the opportunity to grow their own food, practice yoga, BBQ, or relax around a spa.
The project has been designed to procure a building not only using traditional construction methods, but more innovative techniques such as a CLT (Cross Laminated Timber). CLT provides a smart, sustainable carbon sequestration system with the potential to build a carbon neutral building.
The client has particular aspiration for providing an owner occupy concept in this intensely competitive market, where dollar per sqm seems the only concern in strategic composition. They plan to not just form a building, but create a community that makes a difference.
The Rooftop Garden will allow the community to grow vertically into a shared space that promotes city views and shared experiences.
Amenities will include private dining spaces, communal cooking areas, vegetable gardens and a view that is unmatched.
Surrounded by lush gardens, this tree top escape will be enjoyed year round, and provide an essential connection between dream, concept and community.
The Punt Road facade has been developed into an art piece by renowned artist, Kim Westcot. Using her printmaking background to reimagine Australian landscapes and the flora and fauna they hold, Kim has created a facade that exudes experience and growth of a building connected to nature and community.
Creating a home in the bustling city suburb of Windsor requires attention to detail and the affectual qualities, materials define within a space. The CV Windsor interiors are designed not only with material quality but spatial planning to create living environments that develop comfort, ownership and a sense of place.
Free flowing open plan areas are complimented with secluded working and living zones to allow both joint experiences and individual comfort.
The development of working areas within the apartments delivers multiple modes of living and allows the occupier to curate their home experience.
CV Windsor endeavours to connect people and improve the lives of the occupants that call 105 Punt Road home. By delivering apartments designed outside of the box, this multi-residential project is helping to redefine the way modern high density communities live.
Whether is is through sustainable design, healthy living environments, shared spaces for communities to connect or a unique place to call home, CV Windsor creates a place for people to live, work and play.
