The design of the Dudley Parade property is a labour of love, with each detail carefully considered and refined responding to its unique location.  The three-level residence has its own specific relationship with the surrounding environment, creating a highly individual living experience in the heart of one of Melbourne’s most leafy and sought after neighbourhoods – Canterbury.

The residence incorporates sustainable features including the use of timber structural technologies, Cross Laminated Timber (CLT), creating an efficient and comfortable home that offers the highest levels of sound and heat insulation all year round.  Using the highest quality materials, fittings and finishes, Dudley Parade has been designed to maximise comfort, efficiency and sustainability to perfectly combine aesthetic appeal with functional performance.

(Design and Architecture)

From the moment you first encounter Dudley Parade’s facade and make your way through its spectacular entrance with 5m ceilings, you will be left in no doubt that this is highly considered, contemporary design at its best. The home is designed to frame the expansive views, with every window connected to the landscaped gardens and parks full of mature trees that surround the property. Extensive decking helps complete the connection between indoor and outdoor living.

To enhance the lush location, renowned landscaper Phillip Johnson has designed a unique tiered garden that connects the home with its private surroundings. Water features, exotic and native plants and ancient granite boulders have been thoughtfully combined to create a harmonious environment perfect for entertaining and tranquil living.

(Ground Floor Plan)

Dudley Parade is a substantial four-bedroom, four bathroom residence with double car garage. At the heart of this family home is a true entertainer’s kitchen, with a substantial island bench and large pass-through butler’s pantry. With superb Corian and steel benchtops integrating seamlessly with European tapware, Wolf cookware and Leibherr refrigeration, the kitchen has been designed for uncompromised style and performance.

Another feature in this meticulously designed home is the double car garage, which transforms into a vast indoor entertainment space connected to the rear garden. Complete with an automated showroom quality turntable for two full sized cars, enabling forward entry and exit, the circular gallery-like space is finished as an indoor room with timber lined walls and ceiling.

The bedrooms have been considered to provide the ultimate in privacy, relaxation, and retreat. The master bedroom features expansive views, large walk-in robe, bespoke joinery and beautifully appointed ensuite.

“The residence at Dudley Parade establishes a solid, formal and respectful presence within the mature tree-lined street. The design is meticulously refined. The classic form and modern materials of the entrance form the gateway to the light filled and soaring internal spaces.”
